Grassroots Victory 2026 is a welcoming, practical workshop designed to help every Republican, from first-time volunteers to those with years of experience, find a meaningful place in our county’s grassroots effort.
This will be casual, welcoming and engaging. If you have never attended a Republican event, do not know what to expect or are wondering whether there is a place for you, this workshop was designed with you in mind. You are exactly who we hope will come.
You will learn more about how our local Republican Party works, why grassroots involvement matters and practical ways you can help make a difference in Gaston County.
Our regularly scheduled meeting will follow the workshop. Workshop participants are welcome to stay for the meeting, but attendance at the meeting is not required.
Refreshments will be available.
What to Know Before You Come
All registered Republicans are welcome. Whether you have been involved for years or have never attended a Republican event before, we want you there. Please complete our short registration form HERE!
-
No experience is necessary. You do not have to know how campaigns work or already be involved. One person really can make a difference.
- There is NO cost to attend. We simply ask that you complete our brief REGISTRATION FORM so we know you're coming and can prepare accordingly. We will email you more entrance information closer to the event date.
-
You will leave knowing practical ways you can help. The goal is not simply to give you information. We want you to leave knowing where you can make a difference in Gaston County and how to get started.
-
Bring a pen and paper if you would like, but don't worry if you forget. We will have them available. You will not need to take pages of notes, but there may be a few things you will want to write down for later.
-
What should I wear? Come as you are. There is no dress code.
- Gaston County has an important role to play in 2026. From local races to statewide and federal races, the work we do here matters far beyond our county. Former RNC Chairman and U.S. Senate candidate Michael Whatley is from Gaston County, and Superior Court Judge Craig Collins is one of our own Gaston County candidates seeking statewide appellate office.
-
