Election Integrity
We are proud that North Carolina stands as a standard-bearer for Election Integrity, a legacy built through the dedicated leadership of Michael Whatley, a native of Gaston County and current Chairman of the Republican National Committee (RNC).
Michael Whatley’s Contributions:
- Strengthening Legal Frameworks: As Chairman of the NCGOP, Whatley prioritized election integrity by allocating significant resources to legal efforts, ensuring North Carolina’s elections are secure and transparent.
- National Election Integrity Initiatives: Under his leadership, the RNC launched over 130 lawsuits in 26 states to uphold fair election practices and challenge irregularities.
- Mobilizing Volunteers: Whatley organized a nationwide team of 220,000 volunteers and 5,000 attorneys to monitor elections and protect the integrity of the electoral process.
These efforts have made North Carolina a model for free, fair, and transparent elections, inspiring similar initiatives nationwide.
