2020 Gun Raffle

Drawing was held February 22, 2020 at the Gaston GOP's annual Lincoln Day Dinner

Eligibility, Validity and Other Requirements: Void where prohibited by law. Only individuals may enter. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Guns awarded as prizes will be distributed through licensed dealers and only in compliance with federal and state laws and applicable local ordinances. If a winner is ineligible to receive a prize under relevant state, federal or local laws and regulations the prize will be forfeited and no substitution will be provided. Any taxes on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no prize substitution. FFL transfer fees and shipping cost to the winner’s designated licensed dealer are the responsibility of the winner. Winners will be notified by phone. Winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability/publicity within 7 days of notification. If a winner fails to return the affidavit and release within this period, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn. Entry constitutes consent for the use of the name of the winner. Raffle ticket contributions are not tax deductible as charitable contributions.

Liability: The Gaston County Republican Party bears no liability or responsibility for the use of the prize awarded or the conduct of the winners after receiving the prize. 

Drawings and Winners: Winning ticket will be drawn at the Gaston GOP's 2020 annual Lincoln Day Dinner, currently scheduled for Saturday, February 22, 2020 at the Gaston Country Club. Event date, time, and location is subject to change for any reason. Tickets will be available from December 1, 2019 through the conclusion of the raffle or until all tickets are sold. There will be only one winner.

Prizes: The winner of the raffle will be able to choose ONE prize from the following list: (1) Ruger AR 556 Rifle, (1) Sig P365 Handgun with optional pink grip, OR $300 cash. In the event that the winner does not claim their prize within 15 days, a new ticket will be drawn from all contest participants to award the prize. This process shall continue until a winner claims the prize.
